How much will my painting or remodeling project cost?
It depends on the surfaces, their condition, and how much prep they need, which is why we do not quote over the phone. Every project starts with a free on-site walkthrough and an itemized written estimate, so you can see exactly what the prep, the materials, and the labor each cost.
Why does prep take up so much of the estimate?
Because it is what decides how long the finish lasts. Washing, scraping, filling, sanding, caulking, and priming are most of the labor on a good paint job. A premium paint applied over a dusty, glossy, or chalky surface will fail regardless of what it cost per gallon.
Can we stay in the house while you work?
Almost always. We cover floors and furniture, contain dust, keep one clear path through the house, and pack tools away at the end of each day. On larger remodels we sequence the work so you keep a usable kitchen and bathroom throughout.
How long will the work take?
Your written estimate includes a start date and a finish date, not a range. Single rooms and interior updates are usually measured in days. Whole-floor remodels are measured in weeks, and we order materials before we start so the job does not stall halfway through.
What happens if something is not right after you finish?
You call us and we come back. We walk every job with you in good light before the final invoice specifically so problems get caught then, but if something shows up later, fixing it is our responsibility.
